Dutch hip-hoppers Kern Koppen, De Règâhs and Esku rapping proper props to my favourite city Den Haag (aka s’Gravenhage), Holland. Nice video to it by Mink Pinster, which is part of a documentary “Ja, Dat Is Den Haag“. This music video features some of the most recognizable spots in the Hague that you’ll definately (should) see for yourself if you’re ever coming to visit.

Unofficial videoclip for Metronomy’s “On The Motorway”, produced by Jul & Mat. The homie Stein bookmarked it, that’s how it got my attention.

Found this videoclip to a rather odd song (seemingly just about “fuck” and “shit” and some kind of “stacks”) by Reggie Watts. I totally love his afro, and if I ever had a ‘fro and beard like that, I would definately want to rock his hooded outfit from the video as well. Bas ass! Directed by Duncan Skiles and Ben Dickinson, two of the guys behind Waverly Films :)

Marie Claire France’s issue for this month features photos of two “plus size models”, Laura Catteral and Hayley Morley. Laura’s photos in particular (above) turned out very fucking nice IMHO. In case you are intimidated by the word “plus size”, it doesn’t mean they’re fat, but rather just not morbidly skinny. These photos are truly stunning and I can not help but marvel at the good grace our Father bestowed upon us with such voluptuous better halfs called Women. In succession of Super Sexy CPR a few days ago, Fortnight Lingerie released the second clip of their Super Sexy (something) campaign. Good for a chuckle :)

Todd Lamb, the guy who calls himself Chris in the execution of his idea, plays a sweet subtile pun at who knows what. Make of it what you will, I found his notes that he apparantly posts all over New York City very entertaining. More notes here! My homebody Brendan from HypeThemBeats hooked me up with this intense music video of Example’s track “Kickstart” (which was remixed into something dubsteppy by bar9). Example is from Fulham, West London, United Kingdom, as you might be able to tell from the british accent and unproportional violence. The video was directed by Richie Thomassen, who is from Brooklyn NY. Has a happy ending!

Sexiest advertisement of May 2010 award goes to the Super Sexy CPR (YouTube) campaign by canadian Fortnight Lingerie. If only I passed out more often :) I’m só keeping an eye out for the “Super Sexy Abdominal Thrusts” that’s coming June 1st ;)

This is not a photo! Most amazing painting I’ve ever seen, by Johannes Wessmark from Karlstad, Sweden, master of coloured pencil. Luckily there’s more where that came from, but dang, Johannes really hit the nail on it’s head with this one. Unfortunately in low resolution only, but I’ve made it my wallpaper regardless (and I don’t do that very often)

Props for the devotion. Curtis lost 54 pounds of weight for his role in “Things Fall Apart”, a movie about a football player diagnosed with cancer. Apparantly a liquid diet did the trick, and regrettably, 50 Cent also announced he’ll be in shape for his musical career in no time.

Prefuse 73 (Myspace) is just mad dope as usual. I brainwashed myself with his albums “Surrounded by Silence”, “One Word Extinguisher” and recently got to chugging down “Extinguished Outtakes”. They’re all so fucking delicious, but this track has the dopest vocal play of them all.

This is probably one of the sickest commercials I’ve ever had the privilege of laying my eyes on. Directed by Alejandro Inarritu, this video features huge names like Wayne Rooney, Didier Drogba, Fabio Cannavaro, Landon Donovan, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kobe Bryant, Roger Federer and ofcourse Homer Simpsons. Nike really does it this time, with a campaign that is completely accurate to their slogan: “Write the Future”.

Kanellos Loukanikos, the apparant successor of Kanellos, is the name this noble creature of revolution goes by. Spotted at every major riot in Athens (Greece) since 2008, this four-legged creature chooses the side of the people time and time again, being photographed in action countless times.
