Some guy called Nalden (?) got himself an interview with Niels “Shoe” Meulman, the inventor of calligraffiti. Shoe designs letters for a living :) It’s kinda interesting to see Shoe in his home, at work in his studio, and eventually also at work out on the streets. Check it out!
Revok saw it too. Pixaçao is the name, graffiti of the poor, graffiti from the streets. They don’t even pretend it to be “street art”, this is just terror and they’re proud of it. The common handwriting is quite distinctive though… Six more pixaçao shots after the (more…)

That would look good on my legal documents. The work is done by fellow dutchman Niels Meulman, who’s been with the graffiti movement for a while now (according to his website, at least). Great calligraphy, mixed with graffiti writings, equals one son of a bitchin’ cool handstyle (he calls it calligraffiti). I envy the guy.
